CurrentlyAs a Foster School of Business MBA candidate (Class of 2027), I am devoting my time to learning about brand management, consumer insights, and go-to-market strategies.My BackgroundI have spent the past 10 years as a Military Engineer Officer. The role challenged me and helped me grow, while also allowing me to experience some exciting things along the way. I have led diverse teams of over 100 people both in the U.S. and internationally. I have excelled in many areas, and where I failed, I learned. Growth propels me; I embrace challenges, teamwork, and opportunities to help others reach their maximum potential.As for the exciting experiences, I have had the opportunity to learn mountaineering in Georgia (Republic), lead teams of M2A3 BFV (\"small tanks\") crews, conduct technical engineering/project management work at the Ballard Locks (busiest locks in the U.S), jump from planes in Alaska and abroad, work with foreign governments, and gain a deep understanding of how health and wellness affects performance.SkillsThe military has sharpened my soft skills: leading, communicating effectively, problem-solving, and efficiently setting and achieving goals.I have devoted time outside of my profession to bolster my hard skills. I pursued graduate-level studies in AI & Deep Learning and familiarized myself with data analytics and visualization tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI), marketing software (HubSpot & Twilio), and cloud software (GCP).My Personal Interests- Fitness, Health, and Wellness• Current Goal: Row a 5k in under 18 minutes• Things I’m enjoying: Whoop (health monitor), David (high protein foods)- Sports• College Football (Roll Tide), NBA, NFL- Learning about new technology- A great glass of wineI thrive on creativity and balancing professional impact with personal growth.
