I bring over 20 years of IT and management expertise in the investment industry. Starting my career with Accenture, I worked with many iconic names in the industry including Vanguard, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, UBS and the DTCC. Then taking on IT leadership roles at Nuveen and Citadel, I have led teams executing large-scale strategic programs, transforming technology and organizational models.As a COO, IT department head, and manager of a $30M FinTech P&L, my experience spans nearly every facet of the investment process - research, trading, operations, compliance, risk management, product management, sales / CRM, accounting, finance and HR. This background helps me be effective leading complex programs that cut across organizations, including- Leading a 2-year,$26M M&A integration program, enabling the transformation of a muni bond specialist firm into a multi-asset class manager, spanning equity, fixed income and real asset strategies. Program was delivered on schedule and under budget- Executing a successful divestiture of a middle / back office fund administration platform, completing negotiation, contracting and migration activity within 6 months. The project transitioned 60 people and millions of lines of code, resulting in a high 8-figure sale price and an ongoing 25% expense reduction.I bring a hands-on, positive approach to problem solving and encourage collaboration. I like the fast pace of the industry and the high-quality talent it attracts. I communicate effectively, bridging the divide that often separates business and IT.
