Seller Inventory and Location Capability:Since the start of 2020, got involved in a new initiative that aimed at capturing location of sellers\' inventory. I did the enhancements to store inventory location and perform inventory adjustments based on location. Storing inventory location, opened up doors to provide better promises for Buyers. This also opened up new delivery options for Sellers who operate physical stores. During early 2021, we launched In-store Pick-up option and BestBuy turned out to be our launch seller. Read the attached article.Merchant Ordering Experience:Having gained experience on the architecture of Third Party Sellers Platform of Amazon, I was involved in revamping the overall architecture of our system, rebuilding the Orders datastore, using DynamoDB and Elastic Search. I built pre-computed search solution for different use cases. I built a data warehouse implementation for our team and as extension, proposed an Automated Archival solution to archive historic data.
