Jeff currently is a Landscape Architect within Kimley-Horn and Associates in our Reston, VA office - formerly located in the West Palm Beach, FL office (20••••19). Jeff is a skilled designer with project experience across the East Coast of the United States, including projects for public and private clients. His project experience includes active and passive parks, playgrounds, streetscapes, schools/universities, mix-use developments, multi-family residential, athletic fields, aquatic and medical facilities, amenity decks, green roofs, master planning, and irrigation design.Jeff is an experienced project manager with skills that include public presentations, preparation of documents and reports, rendering of 2D and 3D graphics, cost estimating, and directing staff in the production of construction documents and specifications. Jeff has held additional positions within the office such as Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Champion (2019) and VP of Fun (2020).Jeff has recently become a Certified Playground Safety Inspector for Kimley-Horn and in 2020 won the Anova sponsored American Society of Landscape Architects National \"Napkin-Sketch Design Competition\" with a sketch and essay entitled \"Inclusive Playgrounds for All\".Jeff grew up in Hollidaysburg, PA and attended Penn State University (20••••16) for a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture. While at Penn State he was involved with a variety of organizations such as the student government, University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA), competed in design competitions in Russia, Turkey, and Philadelphia, performed research in the Hamer-Center on the Marcellus Shale Natural Gas industry, and interned with the National Park Service (NPS). He loves competing in any type of sport or activity, hiking and outdoor recreation, and all things Pittsburgh.
