My focus is on patent prosecution and post-grant proceedings related to mechanical technologies. I\'m experienced in building and managing global patent portfolios, and in drafting petitions for proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) including inter partes reviews (IPR) and ex parte reexaminations. I also offer counseling on freedom-to-operate, patentability, and other issues related to competitive landscape analysis.My industry experience includes roles in design, process, structural, quality, and test engineering for global aerospace and defense contractors and small biotech start-ups alike. This wide-ranging experience helps me support clients in such fields as medical and surgical devices, additive manufacturing, fluid systems, robotics, automotive, consumer products, and many others.
