Established Cloud Center of Excellence within the enterprise architecture team. Consolidated and hired staff supporting Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Cloudflare. Managed architecture and development of a highly secure data cloud on Google Cloud Platform as a foundation for clinical data science and medical AI. Ensured compliance with HIPAA in the entire end to end design. Platform leveraged multiple GCP services, private circuits and integration with enterprise network Palo Alto, Infoblox and security services. Infrastructure was deployed using Terraform for comprehensive infrastructure as code. Deployment pipelines were created on Azure DevOps for deployment to GCP. Developed operating model and hired support staff. Onboarded development staff for large scale data migration. Worked with external security testing companies to verify all related aspects of the infrastructure. Managed consumer facing Azure infrastructure. Operationalized Cloudflare based internet security for public facing applications and services including consolidation of a large portfolio of internet domains into standardized registrars and external DNS services. Worked closely with M&A team to facilitate infrastructural aspects of mergers and divestitures.
