ABOUT JEFFREY GUTHMAN

Over the years I have held positions of increasing responsibility in logistics and warehousing in both small and large firms. I have a proven track record in successfully managing efficient and cost effective operations. In November of 2014 I passed the CCP exam to be come a Certified Claim Professional through The CCPAC (Certified Claim Professional Accreditation Council) In my various roles in the field of supply chain management, I have been responsible for a wide variety of responsibilities in logistics. I have negotiated multimillion dollar contracts with carriers to meet company goals. I have created and documented procedures and policies to ensure cohesive actions within several managerial positions. I believe my experience would provide a beneficial perspective in managing transportation and warehousing. One of the advantages I’ve used to succeed is my educational background where I graduated with top honors in a unique traffic and transportation curriculum that is no longer available in this area. I’ve used this combination of education and experience to provide my previous employers with efficient and cost-effective strategies in accordance with their business plans. For the last 20 years I have a proven track record of motivating and managing large and diverse staffs. I have successfully coached employees to realize their fullest potential so they could become a greater asset to the company. I have been successful in evaluating employees’ qualifications to place them in a position where they would have a better chance to succeed within the organization. In conclusion, I believe it’s not just the skills I’ve acquired, but the variety of managerial responsibilities I’ve held which will provide the foundation to assist any company to achieve the highest level of proficiency.
