Successful defense of Elitegroup Computer Systems, Inc. after former counsel caused a discovery referee to recommend entry of terminating sanctions in a case brought by Fry\'s Electronics alleging over $35 million in damages. Ongoing representation of a Fortune 500 consumer products company in several trademark litigation matters involving various consumer household cleaning brands, including designing and overseeing trademark confusion surveys and formulating pre-litigation strategies. Representing The Oakland Raiders in claims brought by personal seat license holders, including successfully moving to strike class action claims and having that victory affirmed by the California Court of Appeal. Representing Wham-O, Inc. in multiple trademark and patent litigation matters. Representing Major League Baseball Properties in several cases involving rights of publicity claims brought by retired players, including a successful jury trial and the reported California Court of Appeal decisions, Block v. Major League Baseball, 65 Cal. App. 4th 53•••98) and Gionfriddo v. Major League Baseball, 94 Cal. App. 4th 40•••01).
