Over the past decade, I’ve built data science and AI functions from the ground up – recruiting teams, designing infrastructure and delivering production ML systems that govern real operational decisions. My focus has centered on pricing, inventory, forecasting, and network optimization as these are areas where analytics directly affects revenue, cost, and growth.At Sonic Automotive and EchoPark, I built and led the data science and analytics team, developing the systems responsible for automated pricing, procurement, placement and capacity planning across more than $1B in annual inventory. These systems were integrated directly into day-to-day operations, replacing manual processes and vendor tools with in-house models that drove measurable improvements in revenue, margin, and inventory turn.My background is in economics and operations research, and I focus on practical applications of machine learning where decision quality and business impact matter more than model novelty. I’ve worked across automotive retail, logistics, and industrial environments, typically in situations where analytics capabilities need to be built, operationalized, and scaled.I work at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, partnering with operators and business leaders to design and scale data-driven decision systems.Currently building AI capabilities for one of Europe’s largest mining companies.
