About Jeff Richardson
I am an appellate attorney at Adams & Reese, and I am one of the small number of attorneys in Louisiana certified as an Appellate Practice Specialist by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. I also serve as the Chair of the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization Appellate Practice Advisory Commission. Clients hire me to work with trial teams in important cases to develop strategies on key legal issues, to draft and argue case-dispositive motions, and to represent the client on appeal. Although I have handled appeals in many different types of cases, I have extensive experience with insurance coverage, class certification, and products liability cases. I also had the opportunity to serve as visiting in-house counsel for a Fortune 25 company in New York City, working on complex class action and tort cases in numerous jurisdictions. I grew up in New Orleans and won the Louisiana High School Debate Championship in 1987. Since 2008, I have published iPhone J.D, the oldest and largest website for attorneys who use an iPhone and iPad. I also discuss technology on the weekly podcast In the News with my co-host Brett Burney. In my spare time, I love to play the piano.
