About Jeff Blair

Jeff has significant engineering experience in enterprise software from productivity applications to application servers, such as email cache and continuity and network security. His extensive career experience includes well-known companies such as Novell, Citrix Systems, Solera Networks, and Blue Coat Systems. At Solera Networks, Jeff oversaw the development and release of the DeepSee 6.x and 7.0 lines which resulted in landing a landmark deal with the USAF. At StorageCraft Technology, Jeff has delivered the company\'s first cross-platform version of ShadowProtect SPX support Windows and Linux backup and restore; all centrally managed by ShadowControl. At SaltStack he has worked to deliver SaltStack Comply and SaltStack Protect security offerings on top of salt and SaltStack Enterprise. At VMware Jeff has worked to integrate the SaltStack offerings into the Aria Automation suite as part of the overall cloud and data center management stories. This is in addition to moving from an on-premise, installable software model releasing 3-4 times a year, to a monthly cloud push as a multi-tenant SaaS application as part of VMware Aria Automation.Jeff has a proven track record in leading critical technology projects from initial conception to final release, as well as ongoing maintenance, product upgrades, and integrations.
