I Provide tactical leadership to the Field Staff team of the Auto Claims division. I am responsible for the daily operations of the business unit and for consistently executing the Auto Claim strategy. Working with a team of APD Supervisors and subject matter experts, we continually improve customer and employee experiences while enhancing overall performance. Duties & Responsibilities-Assist the Vice President in carrying out the corporate strategic plans (KST), long term goals, and short-term goals-Work with the Vice President by providing input for decision making, obtaining and communicating feedback/challenges-Communicate why, where, and how we are getting there/meeting the long-term and short-term goals-Prioritize items the Vice President has defined as most important, and develop plans to make them happen-Responsible for the daily operations of all the areas of Business Unit, within the teams and priorities within each unit-Allocate resources to the most important projects and initiatives-Assist in carrying out the divisional budget-Make hire/fire/salary decisions for the Business Unit within the Division-Develop, cultivate, mentor, coach, and evaluate the Supervisors under my direction-Monitor, analyze, and ensure activities within the Business Unit meet expected company standards/goals-Communicate results to the Vice President, other Business Unit Managers, and other NYCM divisions-Promote and uphold the positive image of our corporate values-Actively participate in, and promote collaboration across teams.
