ABOUT JEFFREY WINSTON
Colonel Jeffrey Winston is currently the DTRA Director Senior Representative to the INDOPACOM Commander at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. Jeff is a 1989 Haslett High School, a 1993 Northern Michigan University and ROTC, and a 2002 Michigan State University Graduate School graduate. He has served numerous command and staff assignments over a 30-year career. His deployments include Operation Restore/Uphold Democracy Haiti, in 19••••95; Operation Southern Watch Saudi Arabia, in Operation Enduring Freedom-Philippines as a Special Operations Command Action Officer, in 2008; Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn in 20••••11. Colonel Winston was a former Michigan State University Department of Military Science Chairperson for the Army ROTC program. Through his career, he has gained significant Pacific Theater experience serving in the Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC), the 25th Infantry Division, the US Army Pacific Command (USARPAC), and now augmenting INDOPACOM Headquarters. Jeff is currently working toward a Masters in Business Administration from Capella University. He is married to Laura (27-years) with six children, a son-in-law, and a grandson on the way.
