ABOUT JEFFREY SCARBOROUGH

Hello, I\'m Jeffrey Scarborough,I am a Senior Cyber Security Analyst with over 8+ years of experience in the field. I recently earned my MBA and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Central Missouri. I was part of an accelerated program called the Missouri Innovation Campus where I earned my undergraduate degree just two years after High School. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in Security Operations and Information Security such as Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Management, and GRC.I have had the opportunity to work with an amazing team to provide Managed Security Services to our customers. I was able to assist with the growth of our Security Operations Centers as Fishtech Group and Herjavec Group merged into one organization. I have been responsible for the onboarding training of 100+ analysts in 2022, which has helped improve our security capability to identify and response to security threats. Prior to joining Cyderes, I worked at SAIC for several years, where I gained valuable experience in security policies and SIEM/IDPS Monitoring. I\'ve been interested and passionate about Cybersecurity for years. My passion for cybersecurity stems from a desire to help organizations protect their sensitive information from cyber threats. I am always eager to learn new techniques and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends. In my free time, I enjoy running and time with family. I am excited to continue growing my career in cybersecurity and making a positive impact on the organizations I work with.
