ABOUT JEFFREY S. KUO
I am a board certified Emergency Medicine physician and have been on staff at Ochsner Health since 2008. I received my medical degree in 2004 from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed my Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2008. At Ochsner Health, I currently serve as the System Chair of Patient Flow and EMS and the System Medical Director of Emergency Management. I also lead the telehealth program for the Emergency Medicine service line and am the founder and inaugural President of the Asian American Innovation Movement Ochsner Resource Group. I previously held leadership roles as the Medical Director of Flight Care, St. Charles Parish EMS and Corporate Wellness in Mississippi. Since 2009, I have been the on-field Airway Management Physician for the New Orleans Saints of the NFL. I am also the Medical Director of multiple music festivals including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. In 2022, I completed my second term on the Louisiana Bureau of EMS Commission.
