ABOUT JEFFREY ROBERTO REINA GARCIASALAS
I am a biologist with 10 years of experience in molecular and cancer biology. Driven by my passion for cancer research in 2019 I moved to San Diego to work as a postdoctoral fellow at the Salk Institute in Tony Hunter\'s Lab, where I dissected the role of a phosphohistidine phosphatase in triple-negative breast cancer. I have acquired expertise in molecular and cell biology techniques. Although one of my favorite parts is analyzing data and I have developed a strong interest in bioinformatics as a result. I pride myself on being a fast learner. Beyond the lab bench, my commitment extends to making a meaningful impact, particularly in the lives of cancer patients and in scientific progress in Latin America, where I have spent most of my life. I am driven by the opportunity to contribute to advancements in cancer research. Collaboration is at the heart of my approach; I thrive on forging connections, engaging in scientific discussions, and learning from the diverse journeys of individuals both personally and professionally.I am always open to connections, I invite you to reach out if you have questions or insights. Let\'s connect!
