Software QA Manager, QA Lead and hands-on Software Quality Assurance Engineer (manual & automated testing). With many years of experience in software quality engineering, I am passionate about delivering high-quality products that meet organizational and client needs. I have earned a CSTE certification and have a proven track record designing and executing both manual and automated test processes, standards, and procedures for complex and cutting-edge software solutions. I have been a guest speaker at several software testing conferences and have published articles. I have worked closely with some of the industry\'s most renowned authors of Software Testing books and publications to design testing processes, procedures and standards that meet the demands of the ever-progressing Agile IT world.As a Software Quality Assurance Manager I have managed teams & projects leveraging both manual & automated testing using various tools and frameworks. I have built new teams and processes from the ground up, focused on continuous process improvement, provided technical guidance and support for Test Automation engineers, performed test tool evaluation & selection activities, implemented new tools, and collaborated in the planning and design of new automation frameworks. This included training and mentorship activities. I have also coordinated with offshore resources, and reported the test results and metrics to stakeholders.During my career I have felt that taking on occasional technical roles help keep my skills current and allows for valuable insight when working as a QA Manager - resulting in improved decision-making, fluency in new technologies, and superior project design, planning and estimation.I am currently back in the Software QA Manager role. I am a team player, a problem solver, and a lifelong learner who is always eager to explore new technologies and challenges. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and I value collaboration, feedback, and innovation.
