Successfully managed several large employee and consultant tasks, with total value of ~$7M. Efforts included identifying expertise, negotiating rates/hours, directing work, managing costs, and reporting. Analyzed and evaluated cutting edge space exploration concepts in areas of spacecraft mission design, instrument systems and software packages. Made recommendations regarding highest value/lowest risk to federal government customer, with direct impact upon distribution of resources. Panel chair: facilitated consensus among highly skilled/opinionated, multi-disciplinary subject matter experts during technical, management and cost evaluation process related to future space science concepts.
