With over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance, I am a seasoned CFO who has helped start-up and early stage companies achieve their strategic and operational goals. I have an MBA in Finance and International Finance, and I have successfully raised capital in the public and private markets, executed M&A transactions, and implemented MRP and ERP systems.Today, I find myself on a new mission working for MIT Lincoln Labs as their Deputy Director & Controller. Here I can help support the brave men and women that protect our country day in and day out with ground-breaking new technologies used in many areas of our military and government. This is such an incredible honor to be part of such a talented, diverse and committed team. Previously, I was the CFO at LexaGene, where I helped raise over $40M, launched a groundbreaking diagnostic device for bio- burden testing and point of care detection, and managed the SEDAR and SEC filings for the Company, Human Resources, Legal and Sales. I have also held senior financial roles at Palomar Medical Technologies and ASG USA, where I applied strategic insight and tactical direction in various areas of accounting and finance, human resources, insurance, information technology, and facilities management. I am passionate about driving proactive improvements and overcoming operational challenges.
