About Jeffrey

I have been afforded a wealth of experiences throughout my career in many areas of landscape architecture, design, and project management. I have contributed my design and project management skills to many projects in the Midwest and East Coast, and I have now taken my passion to Charlotte, NC - where I have become a leader in the design of public parks and open spaces. I am a horticulturally-minded designer with strong experience and passion for historic and cultural landscapes. As a leader in LandDesign\'s Open Space Studio, I have worked on a number of significant projects that have shaped the open space and recreation experience in the Charlotte region. My approach is firmly rooted in my ability to create quality outdoor spaces that integrate recreation, education, and a strong sense of community. I have also worked on the design and implementation of several public art installations. I assisted in the design and worked on the construction of Hoerr Schaudt\'s entry,\"Plant It,\" in the Cool Globes exposition in Chicago. I also worked with Douglas Hoerr and the Museum of Contemporary Art for the design and installation of the \"Geo Garden,\" a tribute to Buckminster Fuller, for the 2009 Chicago Flower and Garden Show. Since 2018, I have been working with the Trail of History in Charlotte, NC, where I collaborate with national artists to create small gardens and plazas to display their art along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.
