SUMMARY Member of WATT Global Media Leadership team Responsible for the implementation and evaluation of the company’s overall global agribusiness strategy to develop and foster client relationships, expand business opportunities through sales development to meet the profit objectives of the company. Reports directly to WATT Global Media CEO/Agribusiness Publisher ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working with the CEO/Publisher Agribusiness, develop, implement and evaluate global agribusiness strategy to meet the revenue objectives of the company Balance company objectives and customer satisfaction while achieving revenue goals for global Agribusiness brands Manages all Agribusiness sales staff in developing and maintaining global customer relationships to generate revenue in magazine, digital and event sponsorships In collaboration with global Agribusiness sales staff provide monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue forecasts for all revenue streams in WATT Agribusiness Creates annual global Agribusiness revenue forecast/budget in collaboration with and approval from CEO/publisher Develops staff short and long range career objectives through effective performance conversations on a monthly and annual schedule Collaborate with EVP and Director of Pet food sales with the preparation of content and execution of company sales meetings Participate in industry trade shows and industry meetings as necessary to facilitate revenue generation Travel globally to meet with clients and prospects as necessary to facilitate revenue generation in all areas Conduct necessary research to be knowledgeable about the market, media products, prospects, and client base for managed and owned accounts Work with Editors on providing editorial support for advertisers and any editorial opportunities that may be appropriate. Keep Editor(s) and CEO/Publisher informed on subjects and issues of current interest to the industry.
