ABOUT JEFFREY M. WILKINS
Over the course of a 50+ year career in technology and software, I’ve had the privilege of building companies from the ground up and transforming organizations into something greater than they were. That dual experience — the discipline of scale and the courage of creation — has shaped everything about how I lead. Today, I serve as Executive Chairman of Facilities Management Express (FMX), a rapidly growing, expansion-stage software company and one of the highest-rated AI-forward CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) in the country. Our platform helps schools, healthcare facilities, stadiums, manufacturers, and countless other organizations manage their assets, people, and working environments with clarity and confidence. Our mission is simple: to improve people’s lives by simplifying otherwise complex tasks. What drives me most isn’t the software — it’s the people. Partnering with our founder and CEO, Brian Gregory, and mobilizing a talented team around a shared purpose is one of the great joys of my professional life. My strongest contributions have always been in building high-performing teams, developing clear strategies, and creating conditions for people to grow, lead, and win. That belief in people is also why I’m proud to support Positive Foundry, an organization whose work I find deeply compelling. Their science-backed BetterYet program helps companies build cultures where well-being and performance reinforce each other — not through added burden, but through simple, human practices that fit naturally into the rhythm of daily work. They’ve helped over employees build healthier, higher-performing workplaces, and their approach reflects something I’ve believed in my entire career: thriving people create thriving organizations. Outside the office, you’ll find me on the golf course (working toward that elusive age score), and cherishing time with my wife, children, and ten grandchildren.
