Following my desire to leave the cannabis industry and join the automotive industry I am now working as Service Advisor at a busy San Francisco dealership in the iconic Ellis Brooks Building.This role is challenging and rewarding. I work with customers all day seeking diagnosis, repair and other maintenance related services. The combination of people, work flow and technical knowledge present challenges I enjoy addressing. Service Advisors are the first line information gathering for the diagnosis of customer needs and vehicle issues. All day I track the progress of my customers and their vehicles, working with the Parts Department on pricing repair and maintenance. Each work order has its own needs, some are simple fluid changes while others requires a deeper dive into the specific part and the manufacturer service guides for estimating repair times and parts for complete cost estimates and billings. A Service Advisor is often asked questions ranging to specific car models/issues/attributes as well as general automotive knowledge/diagnosis/awareness.
