I am a business leader first and an HR leader second. This means that my role in any organization is as a senior business leader whose primary responsibility is to make the business better every day. Of course, this is seen through an HR executive’s lens, but it is an important distinction to make. I’m not interested in simply managing personnel transactions and back office functions.
