Opinions are Jeff\'s and Jeff\'s alone.When I\'m the most skilled person on a subject in the room I TEACH, and when I am not the most skilled person in the room on a subject, I LEARN.Jeff is searching for a company that values individual initiative, encourages the sharing of innovative ideas, and acknowledges hard work and self-motivation, instead of pressuring employees to follow fleeting trends. Previously, Jeff found such an environment at #NAES and #Dow. While his energy background mainly lies in Combined Cycle and Peaking units, agriculture and energy diversity is very important to him. He is open to exploring other areas such as AgriVoltaic, Microgrids, and RNG, Hydrogen as well, rather than overlooking agriculture in favor of energy. Regarding the state of the energy transition, Jeff believes that society is grappling with a significant waste issue, and transforming this waste into energy or other usable products presents a noble endeavor. Another intriguing idea he is interested in involves utilizing excess solar and wind power to produce hydrogen for gas turbine generators, thereby aiding in stabilizing the electrical grid and prices and the long/short issues it causes on the power grids. Furthermore, Jeff is intrigued by emerging technologies that leverage coal to generate hydrogen for the production of graphite and carbon black. Jeff believes that if coal is utilized cleanly and cost-effectively, it can serve as a valuable energy source in the future just as it does now and has in the past. Additionally, rooftop solar holds promise, particularly in light of our grid limitations and the fact that it utilizes land that is already developed rather than encroaching on agricultural areas. As for now, Jeff believes that gas turbine peakers present the best and quickest solution. It is concerning to Jeff that supporters of electric vehicles often overlook the fact that children in third-world countries are involved in the supply chain for precious minerals, highlighting a moral decay in the industry. Having recently obtained a degree in Project Management and Energy Management, Jeff is eager to apply his knowledge in the energy business and contribute towards building a better world for our children, without burdening them with debt or subpar living conditions. Jeff also believes that it\'s evident that we cannot completely phase out the use of fossil fuels in energy or manufacturing. It\'s time to abandon the pretense of Net Zero and to recognize that the CO2 debate remains unsettled.
