My role is to transform a traditional purchasing group into a full stream supply chain team focused on operational support and value capture.Key early contributions: Instituted a compliance and risk management process for critical contractor classes including drilling and blasting, crane and rigging, fuel and heavy haul, and third party aggregate haulers.Developed and coached a category management capability that delivered- 20% savings on diesel exhaust fluid (DEF)- 15% savings on engine lubricants - 8% savings on power transmission - 12% savings on Off Road Tires Created comprehensive organizational development plan inclusive of procurement operations, category management and materials management. Identified need for alliance agreements covering $40MM in annual spend supporting quarry rolling stock.
