About Jeffrey B. Veltri
Mr. Veltri has an extensive background in federal law enforcement with more than 22 years of experience in high-profile investigations, national security, and cybersecurity risk management. He is recognized as an expert in incident response, crisis management, insider threat, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Veltri worked at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where he served in a variety of roles for more than two decades. Most recently, he was the Special Agent in Charge of the Miami Field Office, overseeing all regional domestic FBI operations as well as international operations in Central and South America. Mr. Veltri led the office’s cyber, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and criminal investigations, including the investigation and large-scale infrastructure takedown of Blackcat/AlphaV in December 2023 and the disruption of a North Korean fraudulent remote IT worker scheme in January 2025.
