In the course of running my own PR/marketing communications business in Arizona, I established a few strategic alliances with local marketing firms. One turned out to produce a real golden nugget of a client for me. The owner was approached by a newly appointed CEO of a tech startup, whom he had met in college. This CEO asked if he knew of a good PR person, but one that was more of a \"hybrid PR pro\" — meaning someone with additional skills besides just PR. like marketing communications, advertising copywriting, social media, desktop publishing, video script writing, etc.He connected me with the CEO of Converus and after some initial project work in December 2013, I was placed on a monthly retainer beginning 2014. Converus has been one of the most exciting and loyal clients I\'ve ever had. On top of that, their EyeDetect® and VerifEye lie detection technologies are the most innovative, game-changing, newsworthy products I\'ve ever had the chance to promote in my career.And I know this client loves me because I even have my own company email address. and title (although I function more as a chief communications officer and have advised on company culture and brand storytelling).It\'s been an unforgettable journey thus far with Converus as I\'ve helped guide their communication and messaging strategies over the years.
