About Jeff Norwood
Jeff Norwood is the founder of Anthem Media, a political media and consulting company serving clients throughout the nation. An award-winning producer, his passion for crafting effective media campaigns has resulted in high profile victories in some of the most competitive races in the country. A longtime political and public affairs strategist, he also provides strategic consulting to help candidates, organizations and businesses achieve their goals. Prior to launching Anthem Media, Jeff served as County Judge of Midland County, Texas. As the chief elected official of the county, he implemented a conservative agenda which yielded historic property tax cuts, efficiency through privatization and innovative initiatives to support law enforcement and combat crime. His personal political success gives him unique insight to guide candidates through the challenges of their own campaigns. To help businesses navigate deregulation of the Texas electric industry, he co-founded and served as Managing Partner of Priority Power Management, an electric power aggregation company which negotiated rates for the largest private sector aggregated electric load in Texas. Early in his career he served as Chief of Staff to a Texas Railroad Commissioner and a Texas State Senator and on the staff of the George H.W. Bush presidential campaign. A former Director of the Texas Lyceum, he earned an MS in Global Security Studies from Angelo State University and a BA from Texas Lutheran University. He is a frequent lecturer at campaign management schools and has helped train political leaders in Azerbaijan, Egypt, Georgia, Poland, and Ukraine. Jeff and his wife Gabrielle live in Austin, Texas and have two children.
