About Jeffrey Morrison
As the Director of Educational Technology at Trinity School, Dr. Morrison leads a team of nine faculty and staff, overseeing all facets of the school\'s technology initiatives as well as its Media and STEAM programs. He holds professional teaching certifications in nine educational domains in Georgia, including Educational Leadership and Gifted Education. Dr. Morrison earned his Ph.D. in Education Policy Studies from Georgia State University. His research, grounded in Multicultural Education Theory, has resulted in multiple publications and scholarly presentations, including a report for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights that addressed the school-to-prison pipeline. Additionally, he served as the Lead Editor for the Journal of Intergroup Relations for the National Association of Human Rights Workers.While pursuing his Ph.D, Dr. Morrison held the position of Urban Fellow at the Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth and was also an Alonzo A. Crim Research Fellow at the Urban Education Think Tank. With extensive experience as a scholar and school director, he possesses a versatile skill set that enables him to make a significant impact on the institutions he serves while advancing their overarching goals. His areas of expertise include AI pedagogy and workflow development, professional development, instructional design, as well as change and project management, and pedagogical innovation. Committed to fostering inclusivity, Dr. Morrison drives strategic organizational development to engage all stakeholders in the progress of the institution. Notably, he holds a master’s degree in science education and an Advanced Degree in Educational Leadership for Georgia State University, along with a School Management and Leadership Certificate from Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School, underscoring his dedication to academic excellence and transformative leadership
