Making operations more consistent and efficient, not just saving companies money but improving customer relations along the way.As a Mechanical Engineer I firmly believe that I can learn anything I put my mind to and be successful at it. Being from Wisconsin the oil and gas industry was initially foreign and yet a challenge I couldn’t pass up. After more than 8 years in the industry the lessons never stopped and I was able to explore many different aspects of the industry. From working hand-in-hand with deck crews to analyzing well control events on the other side of the world I have seen many things I could never have imagined. During my college years I mentored high school students through a robotics program, the same program that piqued my own interest in engineering. It was amazing to see some of those same technologies applied to automate offshore drilling operations.
