About Jeff Light
Professional Goal: To constantly keep the client\'s interests at the forefront by fostering good working relationships between the client, company professionals, consultants, and contractors. I began my career in State College at Design Group AE while I was in college working primarily on K-12 projects in a drafting capacity. I was then 10 years practicing at John C. Haas Associates drafting initially in HOK Draw and later in Microstation where I became first a staff Architect and then an associate on partner track. During this time I worked on a wide variety of projects which included many University projects, office buildings, apartment buildings, outpatient facilities for Geisinger, banks and Unimart stations. I then moved to Pittsburgh to work on K-12 Projects as a Senior Associate for the Hayes Design Group Architects working occasionally in AutoCADD. When work ran short I then went to work for Eckles Architecture working on K-12 projects as a Project Architect and Manager initially in AutoCADD and then In Revit. I then worked as a Project Manager for Astorino in their Commercial Corporate, Higher Education, Sports Studio, working on a range of projects in each sector. During the Spring of 2010 I helped Eckles Group put together a few studies for K-12 projects. From 2010 to 2012 I worked at KTH Architects Inc, on a variety of projects. 2010 to 2012 I worked on a part time basis with Florida Consulting Inc. auditing air barriers. From early in 2012 to Mid 2015 I worked at MacLachlan, Cornelius & Filoni Architects, Inc, on a variety or projects, in REVIT and creating standards. From Mid 2015 to Spring 2017 I worked on higher education projects at WTW Architects. Currently I am working with Avon Design Group on a variety of performance based Projects. As always I am continuing to develop skills, and relationships. Lets catch up. Specialties: Building Enclosure. Air Barriers. Education, Sports, Commercial Corporate, and Government Architecture.
