Led start-up company focused on instruction in firearms operations, self-defense, and concealed handgun classes for the states of Oregon and Utah with particular attention to making the learning process engaging and informative while addressing all aspect of selecting, owning and carry a firearm safely. · Developed a unique ‘on-demand’ business model designed to provide in-home firearms training for classes of 1 to 15 people. Formulated Pricing structures for all classes and product packages offered by the company. · Led the development of the training programs and curriculum for Oregon concealed handgun, Utah concealed handgun, kids firearm safety and individual live-fire range training programs. Worked with an instructor panel and external sales force to develop all presentations and video media offering interactive and engaging content that drove rich classroom and range instruction. · Led internal and external teams in the evaluation of shooting venues, safety standards and then strategically set up and ran live fire events. 20 years of experience in understanding how customers shop and learn to combine world class training with in-store and online shopping experiences.
