About Jeff Holtmeier

Jeff Holtmeier is an international technology entrepreneur with a proven track record of founding, building, and successfully exiting numerous companies. At twenty-three, he founded his first company, PhoneLand®, in 1981, as an alternative for consumers to buy telephones rather than renting from AT & T. As the consumer market commoditized, PhoneLand® pivoted to business-to-business telephone and data networking solutions, changed its name to InfiNET™, expanded to multiple regional cities, and served more than business customers before being acquired by a publicly held broadband company in 2001.Through his holding company, GENext, founded in 2001, he manages a portfolio of companies spanning China, the USA, and Pakistan. His extensive experience in China and Pakistan, spanning over 20 years, has yielded numerous impactful relationships. In 2004, he and his partner, Chinese national George Kuang-Peng, founded Koncept International, a software development company whose digital media and VoIP platform was deployed across five continents and served over 20 million students in China. In 2008, he launched China-US Business Development Corp (CUBD), and his team has advised and assisted many US companies to navigate and successfully establish, conduct, and grow their business in mainland China. Also in 2008, he became Principal and Executive Chairman of Cinnova Technologies, a US and Pakistan-based agile software consulting firm specializing in next-generation solutions for startups to medium-sized enterprises. Cinnova has experienced significant growth over the past 17 years and was recognized in 2023 by Inc. Magazine as one of America\'s Fastest Growing Private Companies.He possesses substantial boardroom experience derived from his service on the boards of directors of a range of public and private companies in the United States and China. In 2016, he successfully orchestrated and executed a proxy contest, resulting in the replacement of the CEO and board of directors of a publicly traded online pharmacy company, and subsequently served as Chairman and CEO during the transitional period.He is deeply committed to his local non-profit community, with over thirty years of board leadership and service for programs addressing homelessness, children, and special needs.Jeff’s accomplishments include receiving the coveted Ernst & Young/NASDAQ/USA Today \"Entrepreneur of the Year\" award and being named a finalist for the 2010 International Business Award.
