EFFECTIVE LEADER TAKES COMPANIES FROM GOOD…TO GREAT In 2017, Jeff took over as President for Best Formulations. Together with the owners, he developed the strategic and business plan, hired key members of the team and expanded the facilities. Jeff built the company to rapidly grow its customers and business. Additionally, investment in R&D lead to Best Formulations achieving leadership in plant based softgels. During this period, Best Formulations doubled its revenues and 6x profits. Jeff lead the sale process resulting in a successful exit to Sirio Pharma. When Jeff Goh joined food company, Two Chefs on a Roll as its first CEO, he didn’t charge forward blindly to make it a success. It already was and that was the challenge. Jeff’s first order of business was to learn the company’s history – what worked, what didn’t, and why. With that insight, Jeff hired the right talent and deployed the systems and processes to scale with customer demand. He grew the business from $10MM to over $40MM annually – increasing the company’s value 10-fold, eventually leading to its sale to a publicly-traded company. PASSION FOR BUILDING BUSINESS SUCCESS FOR SOCIAL GOOD Jeff is known for leading innovations in food manufacturing. He first joined as CEO and then as an investor of Corazonas Foods – the only company with patented technology to make heart-healthy snack foods with plant sterols – known for their cholesterol-lowering effects. Jeff’s instincts to grow business success around consumer health trends was recognized by QVC when it awarded the company its “Best Healthy Food” award. CREATED “CHINESE CHEETOS” AND SOLD 100 MILLION BAGS.IN THE FIRST YEAR Jeff began his career at Procter & Gamble, rising rapidly to open the Shanghai and East China market – increasing annual sales from $300K to $102MM. In 1994, Jeff joined PepsiCo in China where he introduced the first global snack food made specifically for Chinese consumers. Chinese Cheetos sold over 100 million bags in its first year. As Partner in Artal Food Industries, Jeff was the first to introduce a national bakery brand in China. Mankattan Bread led market share in over 20 major cities in China, distributing directly to more than retail stores daily.
