As the Senior Community Manager I am helping to grow the studio\'s team that will handle player interactions moving forwards, and acting as an experienced role model for those staff that are already on the team. The studio has ambitious future plans for Squad the mili-sim shooter, in terms of releasing new content, and growing an already passionate player base. In tandem with the development team we are working to establish best practices, build procedures around communication, and community interactions, and improve sentiment by winning the trust of our players as we take the game forward. This role draws on my decade of experience in the games industry, as we face all new challenges in establishing a credible and mutually beneficial relationship with our community though written content, Q & As, and open transparent communication. One of the principals that we\'ve adopted at OWI has been to actively listen to the community, and acknowledge their views. This has lead to some reflection on our part as a studio about how we can communicate better, and has begun to make our players feel that we are listening to them and their concerns.
