About Jeffery Stein

Jeffery Stein is the Geospatial Science Team Lead within SWCA’s Gulf Coast subregion and has experience leading a team of geospatial scientists working on natural resource, cultural resource, and planning projects. He has experience in both geospatial analysis and natural resource field work including wetland delineations. Mr. Stein’s GIS experience includes creating, maintaining, and analyzing geospatial information for large scale oil and gas, pipelines, generation, transmission, land development, and mitigation projects. He has experience developing and integrating geospatial models and python scripts within the ArcGIS suite of products. Mr. Stein has worked on numerous projects providing geospatial analysis and mapping to aid in NEPA compliance, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 Clean Water Act (CWA) permitting, Endangered Species Act (ESA) Section 7 consultations with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), mitigation, restoration, and state permit planning.
