Bachelors Degree Management and Organizational Development Bethel University AAS Degree in computer science Hopkinsville Community CollegeAAS Liberal Arts Austin Peay State University.Retired Army with over 20 Years in the Army Ordinance Corps and an understanding of military organizations.Serve as the department’s specialist in the administration of the Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) intensive services. This position has statewide impact on the administration of the JVSG. Responsibilities include acting as the Intensive Services Coordinator for the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR & E) program. Duties include analyzing and reviewing documentation, create jobs4tn reports and analysis of applicable data.Other duties include review, maintain and recommend specific Disabled Veteran Outreach Program (DVOP) training geared toward case management and intensive services.Maintain and keep informed of current JVSG requirements as established by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Create and present performance and training for both internal and external audiences through State Vet Soup. Serves as the Workforce Development coordination point to communicate VR & E information between federal and state leadership. Monitor 26 DVOP Staff across the State of Tennessee that conduct Case Management through Audit Standards according to Department of Labor standards.
