I lead national business development and labour relations initiatives focused on expanding defined benefit pension coverage for large employers and unionized workforces across Canada. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, governance, and stakeholder alignment, translating complex labour, commercial, and regulatory realities into durable pension outcomes at scale.I have been directly responsible for growing DB plan adoption across multiple provinces, working with senior executives, boards, union leadership, and public-sector partners to move organizations from fragmented DC or RRSP arrangements into sustainable defined benefit structures. This has required influencing without formal authority, balancing competing interests, and making clear recommendations where financial, political, and workforce considerations collide.My value is in framing decisions, sequencing stakeholders, and building credibility across systems that are often misaligned by design.
