ABOUT JEFF WISSEL
I’m fortunate to be in that rare place where my work and my passion are fully aligned. As a legally blind leader, I bring a distinct perspective that strengthens enterprise‑wide diversity of thought and drives meaningful, systemic change. As the first Chief Accessibility Officer at Disability:IN, I collaborate with more than 400 leading companies to advance disability inclusion and build sustainable, enterprise‑level digital accessibility frameworks. My work centers on ensuring that accessibility is not an afterthought but a core business competency.I am deeply engaged in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and large language models, advocating for responsible innovation that prioritizes accessibility, usability, and disability inclusion from the start. My goal is to help organizations harness emerging technologies in ways that expand—not limit—human potential.I also proudly serve on the Board of Directors for the Samuel Bell Home for the Sightless in Cincinnati, where we support independence, dignity, and community for blind and visually impaired My lived experience, combined with decades of leadership in accessibility and inclusion, fuels my commitment to building a world where everyone can participate fully and thrive.
