As Area Installation Specialist (AIS) with The Home Depot, I support the Installation Department by managing residential home improvement projects from the measure appointment through to final completion. My role is focused on delivering a high-quality customer experience while ensuring each project meets Home Depot’s standards and is completed efficiently.The Home Depot is the world’s largest home improvement retailer and consistently ranks among the most respected customer service organizations in the industry.A few of my responsibilities include:• Performing technical measurements, assessing pre-existing jobsite conditions, and confirming product selections with customers prior to installation• Managing the job lifecycle including Job Site Inspections, reviewing subcontractor workmanship, and conducting customer walk-throughs to ensure satisfaction and adherence to project scope• Supporting service providers and resolving in-field issues, including scope changes, material needs, and customer concerns that may impact timelines or satisfaction• Communicating regularly with homeowners throughout the process to ensure clarity, alignment, and follow-through• Reviewing install quality, coaching subcontractors, and helping uphold a consistent standard of excellence across all assigned projects• Closing out service requests, managing job exceptions, and utilizing internal systems and reporting to maintain accuracy, transparency, and accountabilityThis role blends customer service, operations, and field inspection, ensuring each project not only meets technical and safety standards, but also exceeds customer expectations.
