   JPS Composite Materials – Statesville, NC 2018-Present Manufacturing Manager Manage full operations for 3 shifts of production for the Weaving Department and between 68-74 associates, 3 Supervisors, Quality/Process Engineer, 3-member Technical team and temporary staff. Responsible to meet safety and quality standards while ensuring production needs are met and opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies are identified and implemented. • Lead the department in alignment with customer forecasted needs; escalate if necessary, to remove any roadblocks such as equipment down-time, personnel shortages, etc. • Identify and implement continuous improvement activities through mentoring, guidance, and employee training across all 3 shifts. • Manage Leadership and employee performance through clear expectations with accountability. • Escalate information to upper management staff as needed in daily Tier 3 meetings. • Complete and distribute weekly report providing a summary of the department activity. • Develop and revise standard work documentation; train in accordance to improvement initiatives. Major Accomplishments: • Revise metrics to ensure best measures of the processes and have team members record their own performance on the metric Tier 1 board each shift. • Coach and Mentor department leadership on completion of Safety and Quality documents for continuous improvement.
