In my 30 years of experience in the areas of laboratory bioinformatics and laboratory automation, I have taken on various technical customer-facing roles. My current role in Solutions Consultancy at IDBS is to support the sales organization in a technical capacity including delivering tailored technical presentations, running hands-on workshops and pilots, and scoping projects.Prior to my technical sales support role, I have enjoyed technical roles in both delivery and management. My management experience includes multiple stints, both with local and remote employees. My technical knowledge includes product (ELN and screening), programming (VB, VBA.NET, PL/SQL), IDBS bioinformatics applications (E-WorkBook, ActivityBase, XLfit, SARgen/SARview, ChemIQ, ChemXtra, MathIQ), laboratory automation systems (Zymark/Caliper, TekCel, Tecan), databases (Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL), and general computer applications (Excel, Word, Access).
