ABOUT JEFF THURM
I have been working at BuzzFeed for over 8 years, where I have worked across many initiatives. I currently work as the Head of Entertainment, where I\'ve developed our internal entertainment strategy from the ground up. I\'ve worked to ensure we are invited to all major junkets, carpets and events, I\'ve developed new shows/formats, and I\'ve produced top performing content that receive millions of views from around the world. In 2021, I led the team in creating more Celebrity and Entertainment content in an effort to bring in more sales with Entertainment clients. These efforts saw an increased spend of 195% and brought in several new clients. This success led to the creation of the Head of Entertainment role. Prior to this, I was the Sr Manager of Branded opersations, where I oversaw the production and delivery of all branded programs, working with major clients such as Diageo, Google, Disney, Amazon. Proctor & Gamble and more. I worked across our innovation initiative, which includes experimenting with new editorial products, building relationships with external partners, identifying new platforms and trends, building out the processes for new revenue streams, and more.
