About Jeff Stoike

Jeff has over twenty-five years of experience in international sustainable development as a researcher, entrepreneur, policy-maker and consultant. He has engaged in institution-building in the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean and brings leadership experience from academia and government as well as the corporate and non-profit sectors. Jeff has a Ph.D. in International Sustainable Development from Yale University. He worked on climate philanthropy and place-based impact investing at the Urban Institute, and engaged in \'corporate diplomacy\' in Silicon Valley for the U.S. State Department. He now runs an international venture platform for climate technologies as well as a non-profit that provides capacity-building to communities on the front-lines of the climate crisis. Jeff has worked with the White House, multiple heads of state, taught at Yale University, UC Berkeley, the University of Texas, and the University of British Columbia and spoken at forums ranging from the UN Oceans Conference to Sundance. He has advised multiple family offices and his work and thought leadership has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes and The Economist. He is particularly passionate about the interface of media, venture-building and sustainability.
