About Jeff Stewart

With over 25 years of experience in marine transportation and logistics, I\'ve been involved in entrepreneurial and private investment activities for over 30 years. In the late 1980\' s, a lease of refrigerated containers was purchased as a passive investment. In the early 1990’s these containers returned from their leases leading to an export business. I ran this business with its ongoing needs for supporting logistics, adding containers and support equipment from major leasing companies and shipping lines to meet customer in Central and South America. By traveling to most of the major ports in the Americas and doing business with several of the largest shipping companies in the world both as a supplier and a customer, I\'ve built a network of industry partners and contacts. When CB & RT opened for business in 2008, I became the managing executive of the historic river terminal at mile 468.5 on the Ohio River (and Marine Highway M-70). While attracting a growing stream of business, I have overseen upgrades to the warehouse, paved surfaces, shore mounted crane, and onsite railroad. CB & RT has since expanded offerings to include a high capacity conveyor system.

   Operating Barge Terminal in Cincinnati at Ohio River Mile 468.5. CB & RT is an intermodal port offering services including barge, rail and truck loading and unloading. We also offer storage in warehouses of sq ft and and outdoor on site.
