About Jeff Spoden
After 33 years in the classroom, I retired from teaching. Staying incredibly busy, I have started three businesses and a political discussion blog. The blog is LeftCoastDialogue.com, where I post articles written either by me or by people I know. The businesses are:1. Call on Me, an errand running/personal assistant service. I help busy professionals and seniors with \"the tasks of everyday life,\" as my promo material states. I run errands, give rides, shop, clean, organize, make calls, help with technology issues, etc. Rock the Essay: I tutor high school and college students in essay writing. I help with specific assignments, while teaching them how to write quality essays for all of their classes.3. Better Said Word Services: I enjoy writing a great deal, and make myself available to people who need assistance with toasts, eulogies, wedding vows, speeches, poems, etc. I also provide public speaking coaching to those who will be delivering the written piece in front of people.4. Teacher Appreciation Project: This isn\'t really a business, though I will be using it as a platform to sell my book, To Honor A Teacher. In the development stages at the moment, it will be a website devoted to stories and poems about people\'s most influential teacher/mentor/coach. When ready, it will be at teacherappreciationproject.com.
