We empower loan officers to generate comprehensive, accurate loan estimates for borrowers, even before they\'ve been pre-approved - so they can fully understand and choose the right loan. Comparisons can be done on a smart phone and sent as a PDF to the prospective borrower within just a few minutes.My son, Tyler Satre, invented the core technology behind Lightning Estimates, and is co-founder and a key partner in the company. Driven by the principle that top-performing loan officers must \"work smarter, not harder,\" we founded Lightning Estimates with a mission to revolutionize mortgage lending through the use of faster, mobile and user-friendly technology.Far beyond a mortgage payment calculator, Lightning Estimates shows all the variable costs, in as little as 90 seconds. LO\'s can compare up to four different loan types to show their customer the financial picture for each. It can even compare loans based on four different offer amounts, or four different properties-all in one go. It streamlines the mortgage process and improves client satisfaction. During the COVID-19 refinancing boom, Tyler and I leveraged this tool to estimate hundreds of loans costs without exceeding a 40-hour work week—demonstrating the power of technology to enhance productivity, while maintaining work-life balance.
