ABOUT JEFF RICARDS

I\'m a former math teacher making a pivot into the Data Science field. My new role as the Data Scientist at DreamHost will have me helping DreamHost to drive their business decisions with data. In my previous career I taught all levels of secondary mathematics for over 10+ years (including 1 year of College Algebra at Cal State Fullerton). I also helped to plan, implement and manage a small school at the high school where I worked. The Academy of Engineering at University High School was one of the leading STEM academies in the State of California. I was the Director for about 6 years, while still teaching a full load of high school math and engineering classes. Our team managed to connect the Academy with several heavy hitting Engineering companies and local education non-profits who helped to provide guest speakers, demos, field trips, mock interviews and much more. Also very familiar with many of the popular plugins currently in use (Serum, NI Komplete, Fab Filter, Waves, PSP, etc.). I\'ve also done a lot of recording/mixing of vocals and have done some professional audio mixing/mastering for other artists. I helped to manage a small, local electronic music record label (20••••08) called Relentless Audio. We produced and distributed music on vinyl, cd, and mp3 worldwide.
