About Jeff Raker
Everyone will be led by something: doubt, fear, anxiety, pressure, past failures, expectations, or even others. I Coach people to learn to lead themselves. Leading others begins with leading yourself. Where do you get in your way? Where do you trip over yourself? Let\'s make a difference together. 30 years of working closely with people, PCC certified Coach with ICF, Sherpa Executive Coaching, and a passion for sports means I bring a unique set of skills and insights alongside leaders and help them lead a Level Up from where they are today. I coach people, whether leading in business or leading in sports. It\'s all the same because it\'s people. Informed by three decades of Coaching people, the Level Up Process follows three steps: Self-Awareness - Self-Compassion - Self-Leadership then move on to Leading Others. Each of us has habits, approaches, thoughts, behaviors that are not helpful. Starting with self-awareness, moving to self-compassion, then to self-leadership, I help build leaders level up their leadership, and help those they lead climb as well. In business, leaders who are driven by the Compass rather than the Calendar, will inspire others on the journey. Profitability is first about people. I help leaders become people experts, which in turn grows production. I also coach leaders in the world of sports, where I use my Executive Coaching process with coaches at the University and Club level. Sports Coaches are leading a business as much as any other leader. Everyone benefits when the leader grows. As well, I work with athletes - whole teams and 1-on-1 - teaching leadership in a way that applies to them. It\'s fun to be able to have feet in both worlds at the same time and it\'s doable because business and sports have one great common denominator? PEOPLE. And people are the same no matter what they are doing - same nerves, same frustrations, same issues, same ways of tripping over ourselves. When I\'m not Coaching, I\'m training and competing as a Master\'s swimmer (2019 Y Master\'s National Champion in 200 freestyle); reading; writing; woodworking; teaching; and most importantly spending time with my growing family or grand-babies! Check out my YouTube Channel - Level Up Leadership Coaching - for my growing catalog of Question for Today videos.
